Joel Aron is Director of Cinematography, Lighting & VFX at Lucasfilm Animation, where he shapes the visual identity of Star Wars animated series. A veteran of both blockbuster films and acclaimed animation, his credits include Revenge of the Sith, The Clone Wars, Rebels, The Bad Batch, and Tales of the Jedi. As CG supervisor for lighting and effects, he has helped define the cinematic look, tone, and emotional resonance of these stories.
Beyond animation and VFX, Joel is an accomplished photographer, drawing inspiration from portraiture, street photography, and the aesthetics of master painters to inform his cinematic approach to light and composition.
