Natasha Devaud was born and raised in Switzerland and is a Visual Effects Technical Director based in San Francisco. After starting her career at Rhythm & Hues Studios in Hollywood, she spent 22 years at Industrial Light & Magic, contributing to VFX for films such as Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, before most recently working at Meta as a technical artist / textile specialist.
To satisfy her creative drive, Natasha paints, designs textiles and wrapping papers, creates children’s clothing and costumes for fundraisers, and occasionally prototypes unusual projects. Her inspiration comes from traveling, reading, and a deep curiosity about history and diverse cultures.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Graphics from ECAL (Lausanne, Switzerland), as well as a degree in Education and a background in Fashion Design.
